Conclusion

My hypothesis was proven correct, because the Maximum cavity protection toothpaste cleaned the stains off the egg the most which left it with a whiter finish! In this test I found out that the toothbrush does most of the work because the difference in the shade of whiteness between the toothpaste brushed eggs and the water brushed eggs was not as significant as I would of expected.

One reason that toothpaste is important is because of the fluoride it provides. The "cleaning" effect is secondary and, as your experiment shows, is taken care of by brushing (with or without paste).

Hi Jess, What a brilliant experiment! You have a very promising future ahead of you. Well, the last time I paid a visit to my dentist (Sevierville, TN clinic), he taught me how to effectively brush my teeth. He said that improper brushing is like not brushing at all. Well, good thing that I have a reliable Sevierville dentist who is so patient with me in teaching me how to be effective in caring for my teeth. Well, thanks Jess for sharing your findings.
